On closets
Dear Carolyn,
I absolutely, positively, most certainly can’t believe you are on here blogging with me. Of course, I wanted to beat you to the first post but that is ok. I was in love with the cute little map background (and especially the funny little moose you found), but you’re right, we needed to get this show on the road! Our readers need to read, not wait. Never mind that it will probably just be our moms and moms in law. It’s all about quality, not quantity.
So Sam is my replacement, somehow I’m having trouble imagining him getting as much done around there as I would. At least the chore is done and he is back to the video games. And be glad you don’t have a little short weird door in the middle of your LR wall. Also, be glad you’re not climbing into a 100 degree attic in the middle of a hotter than blue blazes Arkansas summer. And maybe, just maybe, it will somehow help you keep that closet neater, or at least cleaned out more often. We can hope! Projects are many and help is hard to come by around here. Right now, all I want to do is get the rest of those boxes you mentioned unpacked but I have no home for all my crafty supplies and yarn (about 8 more boxes of it) as I used 10 of my charming fruit crates in my dining area, kitchen and bathroom. You know, the ones that I used to use to house the crafty stuff. I need a cheap, and by cheap I mean FREE, storage solution. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. The boxes piled up in the corner of our bedroom aren’t doing much for me, just collecting more junk on top.
The sun is out in our neck of the woods for a change today, so I must get all of my little munchkins (ones who are big enough to make messes but not big enough to clean them up yet) dressed because you never know what the day holds for adventurers like us. I have no idea what we’ll do, but that’s neither here nor there!
Til later,
Kristy
